At check in, Elizabeth was friendly, and informative, detailed info on garage access perfectly. Suite was larger than expected, and nicer. The bed was luxurious. TVs were older and slower, but enhanced internet ($10/day) was very good. Kitchenette was nice, fridge is a the usual mini fridge - so difficult to do anything more than reheat stuff. Linens were very good. In room coffee was good (Lavazza grounds for you to brew) or get a cup in the lobby. In the halls, you can hear conversations in rooms. But in our room, we did not hear conversations. Bathrooms very nicely designed and roomy. For the neighborhood - it was around Christmas, so the opera and symphony were in full swing, with people Of all ages dressed in finery. They were ignored by the street people. I never felt threatened or unsafe. Recognition to Elizabeth, and Paris, at the front desk, for their friendly manner and advice on a variety of issues.

Inn at the Opera was absolutely delightful. They really should update their photos, because they're obviously quite old and I was astonished by how much nicer the room was in person. It was, in fact, three entirely separate rooms (bedroom, living room, kitchen/dining room) and two large bathrooms. Way bigger than expected. We were also delighted to find a king bed rather than a queen as described, which was extremely comfortable with down pillows and cotton linens. The staff were wonderful. This stay was excellent. Far beyond our expectations, and a remarkably good value.

Modern feel, very up to date decorations. Rooms are an adequate size considering it is an old building. Bathroom is a nice size too. Good mirrors/lighting. Free tea/coffee on downstairs floor, always topped up. Staff are accommodating. Turned up to a room that hadn’t been made (small mistake by the property), however staff very accommodating/helpfull. Happily moved us to a different room, which we felt was slightly better. Windows in our room open fully, so in summer, heat shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Although no AC in rooms.

- very friendly staff - great location, also safe at night - very comfortable room - very clean - nice and quiet even with opened window at night - everything has been working very well, even a shower that is amazing and not flooding the whole bathroom while showering as in many other accommodations - small kitchen in the room - nice design of the room and the whole building - water, coffee and tea available in the lobby - luggage storage available - very good price for what you get

Catharina

Clearly recently refurbished - a beautiful, totally charming boutique hotel next to the ballet. Rooms, hallways, elevator and lobby were all thoughtfully designed and a very relaxing place to stay. The location was very central but the street we were on didn't feel unsafe at all. The facilities all worked very well also, and every member of staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful.
